Merry Christmas!

Santa Lukasz wishes everybody a very Merry Christmas! 

We're spending the holiday together at home, just enjoying our time as a family. Unfortunately, I have caught a cold. The weather is dreary, so I don't feel so bad not leaving the house. I do feel bad that we won't be going to church for the holiday. I don't believe I've ever missed mass on Christmas. But we can celebrate the real meaning of Christmas here, together. Steve awoke with a sore throat this morning too, so our goal is to keep the baby from getting sick. Hopefully staying in tonight will help. We've got lots of good food, cookies, champagne, wine and presents for Lukasz to open! We'll put on some festive music, plug in the tree, light a fire and relax! We'll also talk to Grammy & Pappy, Aunt Noelle, Unkie Brian and Cousin Breckin this evening. 

We wish we could be celebrating in person with them. Maybe next year?

Baby Lukasz

Is 5 weeks old today! It's hard to believe. He's getting so big and changing so much. Here are some photos we had taken a few weeks ago by a photographer. 

LJ's Two Week Check-up

We took Lukasz to the pediatrician for his two-week check up on Wednesday, 12/4. He's doing great and growing like a little weed! He's grown two inches, now 22. And he's up to 8 lbs 10 oz!

Happy Thanksgiving 2008!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! It was a very nice day. Grammy and Pappy were here to make dinner for us...Pappy makes the BEST turkey and stuffing! We had a nice, relaxing day. Lukasz enjoyed hanging out (in his little "Baby's First Thanksgiving" onesie that he thoughtfully received as a gift from Wendy Tyrrell.) 

Grammy and Pappy left the next day. We're sad and we miss them. We look forward to seeing them in January, but we wish we were closer and could visit more often. Lukasz is growing so quickly. He's looking more and more like a little boy every day.
